Sunrise Real Estate faced a classic problem: a new DC without a grid connection. With Sunrock and iwell they flipped the script using solar, battery storage (BESS) and a smart EMS to secure power, avoid delays and deliver a future-proof, independent energy system.

The Cradle-to-Cradle distribution center developed by Delta Development in Dorsten demonstrates how Sunrock and iwell make logistics real estate energy secure: 3.5 MWp solar panels, 1 MWh storage, and EMS in one smart package, ready for the future.

To achieve their goal of becoming climate neutral by 2035, Eneco opted for a bold approach: scaling up with battery storage. With iwell's Mega Cube, which has 14 MWh of storage spread across six containers, the system absorbs peaks, reduces gas consumption, and connects directly to solar and wind farms.
